My name is Kane Daly and I’m a 19 year-old journalism student at Leeds Beckett University. I was born in Manchester in October 1999 and lived there until recently moving to Leeds. It was while taking Psychology and English Lit/Lang in college that I realised I had a love for writing and investigation, cementing my interest in applying for a degree in journalism at university.
One of my main interests is keeping up with social and world news, usually through twitter. I’m a big fan alternative music, having played the Factory Records building in Manchester twice with my band, so I like to keep myself informed on current events taking place in the world of music. I’m also interested in travel, though I wish I had more opportunity to do so; my favourite city being San Francisco, mainly due to its stunning buildings and rich culture.
